A saturated solution is actually a term used that means the liquid is so dense that it cannot hold anymore and there is a residue floating in the bottom of the bottle. Water can only hold so much and when it cannot hold anymore, it is considered to be a “saturated solution”.

It is an ample supply to make up to 20 oz. of a 5% solution, or to make a bit over 1 oz. of SSKI saturated solution. 1 drop of a saturated solution contains 70 mg. per drop of potassium iodide, which is considered to be the most potent.
- Refill SSKI Packet – A 40 g. packet of potassium iodide crystals to either refill your bottle or for those that only wish to purchase the SSKI crystals. It is an ample supply to make up to 20 oz. of a 5% solution or to make a 1 oz. of SSKI saturated solution. 1 drop of a saturated solution contains 70 mg. of potassium iodide, which is considered to be the “saturated solution”.
