Slippery Elm

Description

Slippery Elm is one of the four core herbs in the world-famous Essiac tea, which inspired me to create my own version with many wildcrafted herbs called Ease~Siac tea! It is widely known as a tonic to soothe and strengthen the tissues, mucus membranes, and linings, especially the stomach and lungs. This is due to its compound called mucilage. Mucilage is an intestinal sweeping constituent that may help eradicate Rope Worm and remove it from the body. While many variations of this herb may be helpful, the powder, capsules, or tea come the highest recommended.

Slippery Elm promotes fast healing of cuts, ulcers, wounds, and burns when applied topically. It may revitalize the entire body. Aside from its mucilage, it contains phenols, starches, sugars, garlic acid. It contains vitamins A, B complex, C, K, and P. It contains high amounts of calcium, magnesium, and sodium. It contains lesser amounts of chromium and selenium, iron, phosphorus, and zinc. Herbalists know it for its abilities to heal and strengthen the body.
