Carrier oils are generally used in diluting your essential oils, as they do what they say, carry compounds deep into the skin layer. By themselves, essential oils have limited skin penetrating abilities. Carrier oils increase the absorption and saturation without changing the properties. It offers the perfect way for you to control the strength, scent, and intensity of the essential oil.
