Not too long ago, the word fluke was not associated with being anything that could be inside of the human body. Dr. Hulda Clark is a pioneer of fluke advocation and she spent her life advocating about them. They are many different shapes and sizes and they favor many different areas of the body as well. The most commonly known is Schistosomiasis, which is an intestinal blood fluke. Flukes may attach to the walls of different tissues, linings, and vessels, to remain idle as they feed. There are 10,000 known species. They are known for lodging themselves into bile ducts and other specific areas like the liver, intestinal, gallbladder, and blood (1). As they grow, they may lodge themselves to cause blockages (2).
The infection rate may be immense, as some types have the organs of both sexes, which allow them to reproduce without a mate (1). The adult females can lay up to 4,000 eggs a day (1). The reproductive cycle of most flukes requires that they encyst and they then make their way out via stool. This indicates that most species may have to travel through the intestinal tract to exit the body for the next cycle to take place. This also shows their ability to encyst, which many know can cause long-term infections that may be more difficult to resolve. Lastly, it tells us that any plants that come into contact with the urine or feces of all of these animals may also be a source. We can get flukes from contaminated drinking water, lakes, ponds, the ocean, and undercooked food, including vegetables, and they are known to be an issue with livestock (1).
This has been one of our most favored and powerful blends. It contains anti-parasitic compounds of plants that are popular in Chinese medicine for symptoms that seem to match up to those of flukes. There are also herbs in the blend that are also used in many veterinary medications for parasitic symptoms. We are big fans of intestinal cleansing, as it performs like a bulldozer, pushing matter and debris inside the intestinal tract. It may be worth pairing this tincture with our Intest~Ease™ intestinal cleanse. When you combine this with an intestinal sweeper, the combo cannot be beaten.
